A Barristers’ Chambers Social Media Strategy

I was introduced by one of my clients to a marketing manager of a leading barristers’ set. The particular manager had been promoted internally from a practice clerk and needed some support for their social media marketing strategy.

Let’s talk social

I came in for a morning to talk through Twitter and LinkedIn strategy for the chambers. I looked at the basics from how the platforms work, how to keep your profiles up to date, content strategy and then the even harder part of how to get the barristers engaged.

Plenty of ideas

The idea was to give the marketing manager plenty of ideas to take back to their marketing committee, what the objectives of using social media for the chambers would be, how the process might work and identifying ‘early adopters’ in the chambers who would be keen to get involved, which would work as a great case studies for those barristers who might be a bit nervous about social media!

A thriving presence

Since we spoke I have seen that their social media activity really ramp up and it’s great to be able to share what I know and the experience I have had with another marketing manager so they can take it and implement the idea themselves!
