A rebrand for a boutique employment law firm

I was approached by a boutique employment law firm in the city of London to write their marketing plan for them and become their outsourced marketing manager. As part of the planning process, I sat down with the main partners to discuss their firms’ objectives, target market, what they offer as well as the success that they have or hadn’t had with marketing communication channels in the past.

Getting a clear picture

After talking through this information with them I was able to get a clearer picture of the firm and the direction they would be heading. I then was able to write a marketing plan for them that looked at their overall marketing strategy and gave practical advice and guidance on how they could use their marketing channels.

Looking outdated

One of the biggest discoveries, after comparing them to their competitors, is that they looked out of date and as part of my coming on to manage their marketing, I would also be project managing their brand refresh. They stressed to me that they didn’t understand the process of a rebrand and that they were happy that they had bought someone on to guide them through and manage the process.

Where to next?

As I write this case study I am currently in the process of sourcing design and web agencies for them to kick-start the process. I love rebrands and can’t wait to get started and hold their hand through it, offer advice and guidance and just getting things done for them.

Helen is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and extremely organised which made the process of building the foundations for a successful marketing approach a pleasure.

Whilst this project is running I am also helping them to implement their marketing activity from their marketing plan too so lots to be getting on with.
