Webinars are not always seen as the most exciting things in business. They are often dull and necessary, perhaps to deliver training. However, this doesn’t have to be the case. You can also use webinars as a great way to engage with your customers and get your message across without the stress and hassle of organising a big event. So, how can you make a webinar an appealing part of marketing your business?

When a webinar is pre-recorded it can lose some of the punch that it otherwise would have had. Many people will see it pop up and think to themselves that they will just add it to their “watch later” list. One way to stop this from happening is to make your webinar live.

Broadcasting something live means that you have created a sense of urgency. Your customers will want to watch it at that specific time and be part of something that they can interact with. They can ask live questions or raise live comments, which you can answer or deal with there and then.

Not only will this ensure that people are going to want to watch and engage with your video, but it will also help you to gather information about what your business needs to offer people and what you can do to help your customers.

It is great to feel comfortable being the face of your business, however, if you always present your webinars then over time it can sometimes feel that they are a bit samey. There are a number of reasons why a surprise guest is a great idea.
