Tips on growing your Instagram following
Hi everybody and welcome back to my Wednesday wisdom series. I’ve been away for a couple of weeks and just come back from holiday and what I thought I would share with you is some of the things I was thinking about whilst sitting on a sun lounger that kind of sprung to mind.
I started looking at my social media feeds again and I was quite interested in my followers on Instagram and LinkedIn. So what I decided to do while on holiday is actually increase the number of my followers onInstagram. I want to try and increase them. I’ve got a number in my head that I want to get too.
The more followers you have the more likely it is that people will see your content. I think I started off at like 700 and about a week and a half ago and have now grown my account by 150. I’ve been super focused on my target audience focusing on accounts that have lawyers like the law society, accountants and the bar council. I’ve also seen some interesting stats since I started following a lot more people because obviously a lot more people see pictures of my posts, my stories and are interacting with my posts. As well as massive amounts of users viewing my profile so far I have had 926 views of my profile.
I’m actually getting people wanting to connect with me too that I’ve not asked to connect with so people are finding my profile. I thought I’d share that with you and it’s quite interesting for me Instagram and LinkedIn are my key social media accounts I want to focus on and it was nice to have some time on holiday to start putting some time aside to focus on growing my follower volume.
So if you haven’t done that or you’ve got a small amount of followers then it might be worth starting to have a look at other accounts that your target market followed and follow their followers.
