Developing a Social Media Strategy for a Leading Barristers’ Chambers
I was introduced to the marketing manager of a prominent barristers’ chambers by one of my clients. Having recently transitioned from a practice clerk role, the manager sought support in refining their social media marketing strategy.
Strategising Social Media
I spent a morning with the marketing manager to discuss the chambers’ approach to Twitter and LinkedIn. We covered the essentials—how to effectively use the platforms, maintain updated profiles, craft a content strategy, and, importantly, how to engage the barristers in the process.
Generating Ideas
My goal was to equip the marketing manager with a wealth of ideas to present to their marketing committee. We explored the objectives of using social media for the chambers, potential workflows, and how to identify ‘early adopters’ within the chambers who could serve as examples for more hesitant barristers.
Building a Thriving Presence
Since our discussion, I’ve seen their social media activity flourish. It’s rewarding to share my knowledge and experience, empowering another marketing professional to implement these strategies successfully.
